Orissa crushed Tripura 7-0 in a preliminary league match of the 5th Sub-junior National Girls (under-17) Football Championship, which commenced at Haldwani, Uttarakhand today.
Jabamani Soren starred in the Orissa victory, scoring three goals in the 27th, 35th and 53rd minutes. Other four goals came off the boots of Phulamani Tudu (29th), Deogi Murmu (42nd), Lochana Munda (47th) and Manisa (71st).
